Celestion G12-65 Heritage, 12", 8-ohm, 65-watts, Speaker - Made in England!

Another reissue from Celestion and manufactured in England!  The original G12-65 was the forerunner to the G12T-75 and was created as a higher-power version of the G12M Greenback.  Recognized as the voice of 1980's rock and blues, the speaker was particularly popular in 4x12" cabinets and is considered by many to the finest speaker ever produced for use in this classic configuration.

Like the original G12-65, the Heritage series re-creation of this legendary Celestion guitar speaker has a tone that's best described as sitting somewhere between the G12M and the Classic Lead 80, with plenty of definition for high-gain playing styles without being too bright or aggressive.  By adhering precisely to the initial design notes, specifications, materials and construction techniques, the Heritage Series G12-65 dishes up the cherished guitar tones of the '80's with almost unnerving accuracy.  The addition of solder-only tag panels and original "Rola Celestion Ltd." labels ensures the authentic look, as well as sound!

The next best thing to a vintage 1980's G12-65 AND it is ready for 30-years of solid playing ... instead of a vintage one that has suffered through 30-years of playing!
