The original AlNiCo Blue speaker first appeared in the 1950's and was used in
early Vox and Marshall amplifiers to define the sound of '60's British pop
music! The AlNiCo blue is known for its classic "jangly clean vintage
tone" and fairly early breakup that provides a unique smooth, creamy overtone,
rich in quality and sustain. The Blue has an exceptional dynamic range and
is ideal for Jazz, Blues, Country and British Rock playing styles! Offered
in the original 1960's impedance of 15-ohms and is completely safe to use when
replacing a modern 16-ohm speaker.
The
AlNiCo Blue is an
excellent replacement for vintage and current production Marshall, Vox, Mesa,
Fender, Hughes & Kettner and many other amplifiers.
