An accurate reissue speaker from Celestion and manufactured in England! The
Celestion G12M Heritage is an exact recreation of
the original 20-watt pre-Rola Greenback speaker that powered the sound of many
leading rock bands of the 1960's and 1970's. This speaker is made in the
new Celestion plant in England and is manufactured following the exact
specification and production techniques of the original, including using the
original voice coil former material, glue formulations, edge-treatment, and
matched coil and magnetic flux specifications of the 1960's model G12M.
The addition of solder-only tag panels and original "Thames Ditton" labels
ensures the authentic look, as well as sound!
The G12M Heritage sound is smooth, warm and airy, highly articulate, and has the
distinctive vintage Greenback "growl" when pushed.
The next best thing to a vintage 1960's pre-Rola Greenback AND it is ready
for 30-years of solid playing ... instead of a vintage one that has suffered
through 30-years of playing!
The G12M Heritage is an
excellent replacement speaker for vintage and current production Marshall, Vox, Fender,
Mesa, Hughes & Kettner and many other
amplifiers.
