Celestion
G12H Heritage, 12", 15-ohm,
30-watts,
Speaker - Made in
England!
An accurate reissue speaker from Celestion and manufactured in England! The
Celestion G12H Heritage is an exact recreation of
the original 30-watt low-resonance 1960's G12H speaker that powered the sound of many
leading rock bands of the 1960's and 1970's. This speaker is made in the
new Celestion plant in England and is manufactured following the exact
specification and production techniques of the original, including using the
original voice coil former material, glue formulations, edge-treatment, and
matched coil and magnetic flux specifications of the 1960's model G12H.
This speaker even holds true to the original impedance rating of 15-ohms and is
completely safe to use when replacing a modern 16-ohm rated speaker. The
addition of solder-only tag panels and original "Thames Ditton" labels ensures
the authentic look, as well as sound!
The G12H Heritage offers up the higher
sensitivity of its original vintage counterpart, with thick syrupy sustain
and rich, growling bottom end punch (low frequency response)..
The next best thing to a vintage 1960's low-resonance G12H AND it is ready
for 30-years of solid playing ... instead of a vintage one that has suffered
through 30-years of playing!
The G12H Heritage is an
excellent replacement speaker for vintage and current production Marshall, Vox, Fender,
Mesa, Hughes & Kettner and many other
amplifiers.
